shaped bokeh
i saw this on flickr and haddddd to try it. so core and i went to the beach which was really dark haha :S and gave it a shot.
basically you cut out the hole in the shape you want from a piece of cardboard (which you then put over the lens of your camera). the size of the hole depends on the aperture and im not very smart soooooooo it was a bit trial and error.
here's corey cuttin some shapes
star shaped bokeh!
my favourite!
sleeping. in a tree.
will have to give it another shot soon.
here's an example of this done well.
and here's how to do it. :)
